According to Elon Musk's lawyers, the American billionaire had renewed his offer to take over the company earlier to end the legal dispute that began when he tried to back out of the April deal; where Twitter filed a lawsuit to force him to complete the purchase.
In this regard, Twitter is rejecting the $44 billion bid of the Tesla owner to take over the social media platform, as the company - whose shareholders voted to approve the deal - is unlikely to withdraw from the agreement.

Instead, Twitter will likely seek reassurances from Musk that he is serious this time and will not quit again.
