There's no longer a need to apply for a travel ban to be lifted in the UAE—this process will now happen automatically once a case is resolved, according to the latest update from the UAE's Ministry of Justice (MoJ).

In a brief video, the ministry explained that the steps required to remove a travel ban have been drastically reduced from nine to zero. Previously, you had to submit clearance and supporting documents to cancel the ban, but now that's no longer necessary.
The MoJ will now automatically act on a travel ban removal order, cutting down the processing time from one working day to just a few minutes. This initiative is part of the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy program, launched earlier this year to streamline federal government services by eliminating unnecessary red tape.
Additionally, both Abu Dhabi and Dubai's judicial authorities have automated the process of canceling travel bans as soon as any pending fines are settled.
