Pre and post-trip planning

In terms of health, travelers are no longer obliged to undergo a PCR or Rapid Antigen Test before traveling to Doha. All visitors, regardless of their immunization status, are subject to this.

A Rapid Antigen Test or PCR test must still be completed within 24 hours of a fan's entry into the nation. Any private medical facility in the nation can administer the test.

All foreign visitors no longer need to go through quarantine. Visitors who test positive for Covid-19 after arriving in Qatar, however, must observe local restrictions and take self-isolation precautions.

In addition, the need that all visitors pre-register on the Ehteraz health application before arriving has been abolished by the authorities. Such actions make it simpler to go to Doha and offer convenience to the millions of fans who are planning to visit the Gulf state shortly.

The Ehteraz application will not be necessary to enter any private or public location, including stadiums, concerts, festivals, and shopping malls, according to the authorities, but it will be required for all visitors to attend health institutions across the nation.

In addition, Hayya card holders would have free access to emergency medical care in hospitals run by the Hamad Medical Center.

Visitors are not needed to get travel insurance, but authorities nonetheless advise supporters to do it in advance in case of an emergency.

Non-ticket holder? Book your visit now!

Starting December 2, spectators will be able to enter without match tickets, however, registration on the Hayya site is still necessary before access.

Non-ticket holders now have the opportunity to register on the site if they want to see the football fervor in the Gulf nation live.

The interior ministry of the nation has said that travelers with any sort of visit visa who visited the country before to November 1 now have the opportunity to change it into a fan visa for a charge of QR500.

The validity of the visa may thereafter be extended through January 23, 2023, and it may be modified at any General Directorate of Passports and MOI Services Centers.

Behold, the great ceremony is about to kick-off
