At the festival's largest venue yet, Darb Al Saai is finally back with over 4,500 events planned to amuse Qataris, locals, and World Cup, supporters.

The gardens of Darb Al Saai have long served as a venue for tourists to gain knowledge about the rich history and culture of the Gulf country. There are also a ton of activities offered to incorporate amusement for visitors of all ages.

According to Al Araby Al Jadeed, its name, "Darb Al-Saai," translates to "the messenger's route" and refers to the path used by representatives of Qatar's founder, Sheikh Jassim bin Muhammad bin Thani, to convey his messages and instructions to both internal and external parties.

However, due to the 24-day celebration's proximity to the FIFA 2022 World Cup, the festival has been relocated to a significantly larger venue this year to accommodate more guests and increase the number of events.

The celebration, which is being held in Umm Salal Mohammed over a 150,000 square meter area, will begin on November 25 and run through December 18, which is Qatar National Day and the day of the football tournament's conclusion.

According to Dr. Ghanem bin Mubarak Al Ali, General Supervisor of the National Day Celebrations, "the fans during FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will reveal the bright aspects of our history and culture, our belief in civilized interaction with other cultures, and our pride in our Arab and Islamic values."

The national day devotes a variety of events for youth and teenagers, so that the national day becomes a space of communication between all generations, "as much as the national day activities enhance the elements of the national memory of the people of Qatari society, they give the new generation the opportunity to build their national character."

The new location features a vast parking lot that can hold over 3,500 automobiles and is easily accessible from three major roads as well as the Doha Metro through the Old Rayyan Station on the Green Line. Additionally, five service gates and seven major entry gates are connected to the parking, greatly enhancing traffic flow.

The festival will feature over 4,500 thrilling cultural, heritage, sporting, and entertainment events, including poetry readings, musical performances, literary, intellectual, and artistic seminars, exhibitions, competitions, two museums, a range of handicrafts and folk games, and workshops.
