This Police Station Reported Zero Traffic-Related Deaths in 2023

No traffic-related fatalities were reported in the first half of 2023, according to Al-Qusais Police Station in Dubai. In contrast, nine traffic-related fatalities were reported during the same time period the year before.

The director of Al Qusais Police Station, Brigadier Sultan Abdullah Al Aweys, emphasized the significance of the jurisdiction area because it covers almost 77 square kilometers and includes a variety of residential, business, and industrial zones, including Al Nahda, Al Twar, and Al Muhaisnah.
He appreciated the Station's Traffic Records Section for working cooperatively with the General Department of Traffic to accomplish this success. He emphasized that a variety of programs and traffic campaigns, along with the knowledge of skilled patrol officers, have significantly improved road safety.
The Customer Happiness Section at the Station, which registered 1,116 in-person transactions in the first half of 2023 as opposed to 1,328 in the first half of 2022, received praise from Brig. Al Aweys as well. Additionally, the Section exceeded the 35,366 smart transactions that were recorded during the same period last year, achieving a remarkable total of 43,122 smart transactions in the first half of the current year.
Additionally, compared to the 301 transactions handled during the same period last year, the Smart Police Station (SPS) processed 600 transactions in the first half of this year.
