A name change has been announced by the UAE's Foreign Ministry. It will now be officially known as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which was initially known as The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Accordingly, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the minister, will now be referred to as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The ministry's social media handles have also changed as a result of the change. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, formerly known as MoFAICUAE, is currently known as MoFAUAE (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

A crucial ministry in the UAE, the MoFA acts as a conduit between the country's government, the people, and the rest of the world as a whole. It stresses the significance of achieving world peace and amicably resolving international conflicts via negotiation and justice.

Observing the country's foreign policy, overseeing its implementation, and collaborating with appropriate organizations are among the responsibilities it holds. The nation's and its nationals' interests overseas are also protected by the MoFA.
