Where Does the Different Color of Eggs Come From?
The white eggs are produced by the white hen with a white earlobe, while the brown hen with a red earlobe produces brown eggs.
Is there a Difference in Taste between the Two Types?
The different taste does not occur due to the color of eggs, as you may eat a white egg which tastes differently but that it is due to the environment in which the hen is raised and not the egg color at all. Mostly domestic eggs are tastier than industrial eggs because the hen is fed hormone-free food.
What is the Difference between Both Types?
The only difference between both types of hens is the price, for the brown eggs are more expensive than white eggs. The reason behind this is that the hen which produces white eggs eats less food than the hen which produces brown eggs, consequently there is no differences between the two types of eggs in terms of health.
