The bridge in Abu Dhabi connecting Al Maryah Island and Al Zahia District will be closed for a month from Jan. 8 to Feb. 3.

The bridge extended from the Zayed the First Street in Al Zahia onto Al Maryah Island. It will be sealed from traffic for a month, according to Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport Centre (ITC).

These road closures are carried out to upgrade traffic systems and for road maintenance and expansion.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to get to their destinations and follow traffic regulations to ensure road safety.
