These Dubai roads will be closed off for NYE

As the New Year 2021 approaches, Dubai prepares for the end of year celebrations as certain parts of Dubai will be closed until the end of the last day of the year.
An announcement by The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) was made as part of preparations for the special day.

Here’s the list of roads to be closed:
Al Asayel Road from Oud Street to Al Meydan Street will be closed from 4pm onwards to be specifically used for public transportation and emergency vehicles.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard Street will also be shut from 4pm, after the parking is full. The RTA also advised those with any reservations in the vicinity to make it in time before 4pm, to avoid any inconvenience.

Financial Center Road will be closed from 4pm, while Al Sukook Street will close at 8pm.
Future Street will be closed in the crossing between Business Bay street and Financial Center Street in phases between 6-8pm.

In cooperation with the Dubai Police, the RTA operational team will be present in all the necessary locations to ensure effective distribution is there.
The Burj Khalifa metro station will also be closed from 5pm on December 31 until 6am on January 1 with a special crossing zone for pedestrians to cross Sheikh Zayed Road near the station.
