These Abu Dhabi Roads Are Closed From Today
Residents and motorists should plan ahead as rolling road closures will take place in Abu Dhabi this weekend for the UAE Tour Women cycling race. The race will pass through various areas of the capital, impacting traffic from Friday, February 7, to Sunday, February 9.
Road Closures Schedule
Friday, February 7
- Roads in Madinat Zayed-Al Dhafra will be closed this afternoon until 4 PM.
Saturday, February 8
- Shakhbout bin Sultan Street in Al Ain and surrounding areas will be closed from 11:50 AM to 4:45 PM. Expect rolling closures throughout the Garden City.
Sunday, February 9
- Several roads across Abu Dhabi will be closed from 1 PM to 5 PM.
- The race will conclude at Abu Dhabi Breakwater, so motorists should check live updates before heading out.
