The Weeknd continues his philanthropic efforts with another generous pledge of $2 million to support families in Gaza through his XO Humanitarian Fund. This donation, aimed at combating global hunger, will fund the production of over 18 million loaves of bread, providing essential sustenance for more than 157,000 Palestinians for a month, as reported by the UN’s World Food Programme (WFP).

This latest contribution follows The Weeknd's previous $2.5 million donation in December 2023 and reflects his ongoing commitment to humanitarian causes. Through partnerships and fan support, The Weeknd's XO Humanitarian Fund has raised $6.5 million to date, addressing food insecurity globally. Additionally, The Weeknd's philanthropy extends to other regions, including a $2 million donation to Ethiopian women and children through WFP's emergency food assistance program.
