Over the centuries, Saudi Arabia and this peninsula had a significant role, from an ancient trading center to the core of Islam where it was born Saudi Arabia is astonishing, while there is already a set date for the National Day, there is a massive difference between Saudi Arabias’ founding day and Saudi Arabias’ national day.

What is the difference between both days?

  • Saudi National Day is celebrated annually on September 23rd. It marks the 1932 Decree, issued by King Abdulaziz, as that was the day when Saudi Arabia was renamed to that name from the Kingdom of Najd And the Hejaz, the unification of the kingdom took place on that date as well. The national day is an official holiday celebrated through fireworks and many ceremonies, events, and parades for the love of Saudi Arabia.
  • Saudi founding day is a new annual holiday in Saudi Arabia that celebrates the ascendancy of power of Mohammed Bin Saudi, who is the founder of the first Saudi State back in February 1727 where he had leadership over Diriyah, that goes back in its’ establishment thanks to his ancestors back in the 15th century.

  • The Arabian peninsula, where Saudi Arabia is located, is the largest one in the entire world!
  • Saudi Arabia is currently going through a reformation with vision 2030, transforming the country for green energy, tourism, better economics, and extraordinary human rights for its people.
