The Banshees of Inisherin film came out on top at the 80th edition of the Golden Globe Awards that took place in Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening.

The Banshees of Inisherin won the top award for Best Film, Musical or Comedy, Best Actor for Colin Farrell and Best Screenplay for Martin McDonagh, who also directed the film.  

It was a big night for Malaysian-born Michelle Yeoh and Vietnamese-born Ke Huy Quan who won Best Actress and Best Actor in a musical or comedy for their work in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Other notable winners at the glamorous annual event included Kevin Costner, Angela Bassett, Cate Blanchett, and legendary director Steven Spielberg.
