The world’s biggest popstar and Time’s Person of the Year Taylor Swift was just spotted having some quality time with her girlfriends. We’re not here to just talk about how the “Love Story” singer was seen in New York vibing with her besties, we’re here to talk about where they decided to go and enjoy that time.
Last Friday evening, at The Brooklyn Academy of Music to be precise, the global phenomenon attended Ramy Youssef’s comedy show with Selena Gomez, Cara Delevigne, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Zoe Kravitz. This move marks as the first one for Swift to support for the Palestinian cause, especially since 100% of the proceeds from the event will go to offer aid to the humanitarian crisis happening in Gaza through the American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA) – a non-governmental organization is known for providing aid to the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, and Jordan.
Only last month, fans of the American singer who are known as Swifties flooded Twitter and TikTok with posts hashtagged #SwiftiesForPalestine to urge Swift to break her silence and use her platform to voice solidarity with Palestine. She may not have done that yet, but this is a very promising start.
