British grime superstar Stormzy is officially set to headline the Emirates Dubai 7s at the Sevens Stadium, Dubai, on Sunday, December 1.
Known for chart-toppers like "Big for Your Boots," "Shut Up," and "Vossi Bop," Stormzy's performance is expected to be the highlight of the weekend.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for the announcement after Dubai 7s teased the headliner in cryptic social media posts earlier this month. In addition to his performance, Stormzy will also take part in a mini padel tournament on Saturday, November 30.
Stormzy's musical success has been remarkable, with all three of his albums topping the UK charts, and two of them earning nominations for the Mercury Music Prize. His dynamic energy and powerful lyrics are sure to electrify the crowd.
The Emirates Dubai 7s, running from November 29 to December 2, will feature over 5,000 athletes competing in rugby, padel, netball, and cricket. The annual event has previously hosted performances by big-name artists like Kylie Minogue, Becky Hill, and Craig David.
Tickets for Friday are free, while entry for Saturday and Sunday starts at AED 425 per day. Weekend passes are available for AED 550. Children aged 4-9 can enter for AED 40, and kids under 4 go free.
