The number marks a 20 percent increase year-on-year for the UAE landmark, including 2.2 million worshippers and 4.3 million tourists.
In 2024, the mosque received 281,941 worshippers who attended Friday prayers, while 709,875 participated in daily prayers.
Ramadan and Eid prayers attracted 617,458 worshippers to the mosque, with the 27th night of Ramadan attracting 70,680 worshippers.
Eighty-one percent of the visitors were international visitors, while 19 percent were UAE residents.
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque ranked among the top one percent of tourist attractions worldwide and earned the title of the Middle East's top cultural and historical attraction on Tripadvisor.
