Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, visited one of Abu Dhabi’s main attractions, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, on Tuesday and praised the emirate's protection of marine life. While Sheikh Mohammed was visiting Yas Island, he was briefed about the educational and entertainment facility, which opened in May.
Sheikh Mohammed discussed the project and how it contributes to tourism in the UAE, highlighting the world-class infrastructure that was developed through strong public-private partnerships.
During Sheikh Mohammed's visit, he was informed about Abu Dhabi, which covers over five floors and covers an area of 183,000 square meters. The facility's Research and Rescue Centre was highlighted for its crucial role in the conservation and welfare of marine life.
Sheikh Mohammed was also briefed on the diverse educational and entertainment experiences spread over eight sections that host habitats, rides and interactive exhibits as well as 150 species including sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates.
Sheikh Mohammed also received a detailed briefing on the wide range of educational and entertainment experiences available across eight distinct sections within SeaWorld Abu Dhabi.
These sections encompass various habitats, interactive exhibits, thrilling rides, and an impressive collection of 150 species, including sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates.
SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is the first outside North America and is the latest addition to Yas Island's attractions, which include Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi and Clymb Abu Dhabi.
