The Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed trekked the perilous Half Dome at Yosemite National Park.
The Dubai royal shared a video of his trek on Instagram. His Highness and his entourage completed the trek in under nine hours and most people complete the hike in 10 to 12 hours.
The Half Dome is 1,500 meters above the Yosemite Valley and 2, 682 meters above the sea level, which makes it one of the most difficult hikes in the California park.
The Half Dome hike spans more than 30 kilometers and takes trekkers to the peak of Half Rock at the eastern end of Yosemite Valley.
The Instagram video showed Sheikh Hamdan sighting a bear in the distance and coming across a snake.
The video also features the park's thundering waterfalls and tall cliffs.
Sheikh Hamdan and his entourage are shown scaling the 120-meter climb to the peak of Half Dome.
