The Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qassimi assured that jobs will be given to all Emiratis aged between 18 to 60 in Sharjah.

This new decision has been announced because Sheikh Dr. Sultan had previously issued a decree, which was misapplied.

The decree was issued in 2018 and misapplied by the Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources, therefore nobody above the age of 30 was hired.

Although Sheikh Dr. Sultan had specified in the law that Emiratis eligible to work between the ages of 18 to 60 should be given work, however, the Directorate did the opposite of that and stopped hiring people over the age of 30.

Sheikh Dr. Sultan's decision comes after the UAE works towards meeting Emiratization targets in the private sector.

According to the ruler, there has been an increase in demand for jobs in Sharjah in recent months.
