Starting January 1, 2025, Sharjah Municipality will introduce paid parking in Al Dhaid City. The new system will enforce parking fees from Saturday to Thursday, between 8 AM and 10 PM. However, parking will remain free on Fridays, except in designated areas where charges will apply every day, including weekends and public holidays.
Blue Signboards to Mark Paid Zones
To help motorists identify paid parking zones, blue signboards will be installed across the city. These signs will indicate areas where parking fees are applicable, even on public holidays and weekends.

This development follows the municipality’s recent changes to parking hours in Sharjah’s seven-day zones. From November 1, parking fees in these zones have been extended to 16 hours daily, from 8 AM to midnight. Previously, charges were only applicable until 10 PM.
