Sharjah Safari, the largest safari park outside Africa, is gearing up for its fourth season, launching on September 23. This year, visitors can look forward to a range of new events and surprises, adding to the safari's reputation for adventure and learning.

New Wildlife and Enhanced Experience

This season introduces over 300 newborn animals and birds, reflecting the success of Sharjah's biodiversity efforts. Guests will have a rare chance to see these young animals in their natural habitats, enhancing their connection with wildlife and nature.

Chairperson’s Vision

Hana Saif Al Suwaidi, Chairperson of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA), emphasized that this initiative aligns with the vision of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah. She noted the importance of engaging visitors, especially children, in understanding wildlife conservation. The improvements made to the safari this season aim to enhance visitor comfort and enjoyment.

Explore 12 Unique Environments

Sharjah Safari features 12 distinct environments, each inspired by different African regions. Covering 8 square kilometers, these areas include the Savannah, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, among others. The safari hosts over 50,000 animals from more than 120 species, all located within the Al Bardi Reserve in Al Dhaid.

Visiting Hours and Ticket Options

The safari is open from 8:30 AM to 6 PM. Ticket options include Bronze, Silver, and Gold packages, each offering varying levels of access and experiences:

- Bronze Ticket: Includes a walking safari in the "Into Africa" and Zanzibar village areas.

  - Adults: Dh40

  - Children (ages 3-12): Dh15

  - Children under 3: Free

  - Duration: 1-2 hours

- Silver Ticket: Includes all Bronze features plus a safari tour through additional habitats and a stop at Safari Camp.

  - Adults: Dh120

  - Children (ages 3-12): Dh50

  - Children under 3: Free

  - Duration: 2-4 hours

- Gold Ticket: Offers all Silver benefits plus a personal guide and a walking safari in the Serengeti.

  - Adults: Dh275

  - Children (ages 3-12): Dh120

  - Children under 3: Free

  - Duration: 3-5 hours
