beauty centers, to ensure their compliance with all health requirements and standards set by the Municipality to conduct their work, with the aim of strengthening the public health system and maintaining the safety of customers.

The Municipality explained that there are several health requirements that must be met in every facility, including providing valid occupational health cards for workers and providing immunization cards against hepatitis. Requirements also include maintaining the general cleanliness of the facility and the cleanliness of the tools and equipment used, and providing them with a sufficient number, as well as paying attention to the maintenance of walls, floors, and ceilings and contracting with an insect and rodent control facility approved by the Sharjah Municipality and ratifying the contract.

The health requirements also include paying attention to the cleanliness of workers, wearing the appropriate uniform, providing a well-equipped first aid box, making sure that the products and preparations used in the facility are valid, and providing proper lighting and ventilation, as well as providing approvals for electrical beauty devices and equipment, if any.

It is noteworthy that Sharjah Municipality regularly organizes daily and surprise inspection visits to salons.
