Sharjah Municipality has rolled out an advanced AI-powered parking system across the city, making parking more convenient and efficient for residents and visitors.
AI for Seamless Parking
The new system uses artificial intelligence to detect vehicle number plates as soon as drivers enter designated parking areas. Once parked, motorists can make payments through the Mawqef app, which supports both e-wallet and credit card transactions.
Flexible Payment Options
The service offers flexible payment plans, allowing users to pay for parking on an hourly basis or reserve spaces for longer durations ranging from a single day to a full year. Weekly and monthly payment options are also available, catering to the varying needs of motorists.
