The Sharjah International Book Fair will host concerts featuring Kuwaiti singer Humood AlKhuder and Egyptian musician Omar Khairat. 

Khairat will bring his magnificent melodies to the book fair at the Sharjah Expo Centre on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 8:00 p.m.

AlKhuder will perform at the book fair on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m.

Omar Khairat

Omar Khairat is a renowned Egyptian composer, pianist, and conductor known for his exceptional contributions to both classical and contemporary music.

He has composed numerous scores for film and television, establishing himself as one of the most prominent figures in the Arab world’s music scene.

His work includes memorable compositions for Egyptian films like "The Sixth Day," "The Execution of a Dead Man," and the popular TV series "The Grand Hotel" (also known as "Secret of the Nile").

With a career spanning several decades, Khairat remains an icon in Middle Eastern music, inspiring a new generation of artists and composers.

Humood AlKhuder

Humood AlKhuder is a Kuwaiti singer, songwriter, and music producer known for his uplifting and inspirational songs.

He rose to fame with his hit song "Kun Anta" ("Be Yourself"), which quickly became an anthem for self-acceptance and encouragement, especially among young listeners.

His albums, including "Aseer Ahsan" and "Fekra," showcase his signature blend of pop, soul, and traditional Arabic melodies, earning him a reputation as a versatile and innovative artist.

AlKhuder released a pro-Palestinian song 'Falasteen Biladi' for the ongoing war in Gaza, which has received 39 million views so far since its release 11 months ago.
