Schools located in Sharjah will return to in-person classes on Monday, Apr. 29 after two weeks of distance learning due to the heavy rain in the country.
Students of schools in Sharjah had remote classes from Tuesday, Apr. 15 because of the water accumulation in the country after the heavy rain.
Initially, the remote learning was only for two days, but it was extended to Thursday, Apr. 25 as the country took time to recover from the rain damage.
Dubai International Airport (DXB) resumed full operations on Tuesday, Apr. 23 as other facilities also resumed operations this week after recovering from rain damage.
The authorities also implemented certain initiatives to support affected people such as waiving traffic fines.
