Sharjah announces the approval of AED 69,426,000 to clear debts for more than 100 individuals, following the directives of Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah.

Debt Relief Initiative Continues

The emirate of Sharjah has approved a substantial sum of Dh69,426,000 to settle the debts of over 100 individuals. The announcement, made on Monday, March 5, underscores the commitment of Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to enhance the quality of life for Sharjah's residents.

Committee's Decision

The debt resolving committee for Sharjah citizens has sanctioned the allocated funds to clear the debts of 131 individuals who were previously convicted in financial cases. This latest batch marks the 26th case where such financial support has been extended, reflecting a continuous effort to assist citizens in overcoming financial challenges.

Significant Allocations

Since the inception of this initiative, a total of AED 1,196,560,153 has been allocated across 2,343 beneficiaries, spanning from the first batch to the current one. These allocations signify the government's steadfast commitment to ensuring the welfare and stability of its citizens, particularly during challenging economic times.
