612 mosques and musallahs have been approved by the Sharjah Department of Islamic Affairs to host Eid Al Adha prayers throughout the emirate.

On the morning of the first day of Eid Al Adha, which this year takes place on June 28th, Wednesday in the UAE. The Eid prayer, also known as Salat Al Eid, is a significant congregational prayer that is performed 15-20 minutes after sunrise. It usually takes place in a mosque or a musallah, which has a large open area.
In Sharjah, the Eid prayer is scheduled to begin at 5:47 a.m.
The prayer consists of two units of prayer (rakat), which are followed by a sermon (khutbah). Muslims listen to the sermon before exchanging Eid greetings to start off the celebrations for the day.
