SeaWorld Has Officially Opened Its Doors on Yas Island

The UAE is known for its unique experiences in the region and it will have yet another exhilarating experience to add onto your bucket list in 2022. As a must-visit destination for global travellers, Yas World will soon have SeaWorld onboard as a world-class hub for all the Aquatic lovers out there.

This exciting Marina adventure is now 40% complete and is all set to open in 2022 with a mega range of exciting activities onboard. As a part of Miral’s growing portfolio, this will be home to the UAE’s first dedicated marine research, rescue, rehabilitation and return center.

This expansive 183,000sqm area will  will feature six distinct realms and have one of the world’s largest and most progressive indoor aquariums, an immersive ride that takes guests on a thrilling and visually stunning journey from Pole to Pole along with countless interactive exhibits.


 

His Excellency Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Miral said “We are proud to have partnered with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment on this incredible project, which brings more than 55 years of expertise in marine conservation and world class marine animal care to Yas Island.”

Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed is briefed on the progress being made at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi and also made a visit to the site.

Till date SeaWorld has come to the aid of more than 37,000 animals in need, returning many to the wild and providing a forever home for animals that are unable to safely return to the wild.

As part of the goal to provide impactful education and learning opportunities for its visitors, it will also inspire UAE’s future generations to follow marine careers and professions.
