Travel agents have shared that UAE residents who are applying for Schengen visa appointments will have to wait till September 2023 because of the increasing demand.
The agents reported that they have been receiving 700 enquiries per day. Although the visa processing time has been reduced, slots are fully booked because many UAE residents are planning their overseas trips for the Eid Al Adha break.
Premium visa services that require applicants to pay AED 400 extra are not even available anymore.
The demand for this visa has increased because of the upcoming summer holidays and the Eid Al Adha break.
Most applicants who applied in January and February have received their visas. Travel agents have requested them to plan their trips ahead and stay in touch for the latest updates on travel guidelines.
