Saudi footballer Fahad Al Muwallad is currently receiving intensive medical care after a serious fall from the balcony of his Dubai home on September 12. The incident occurred while the player was on vacation in the UAE.
Accident Under Investigation
According to a statement from the Dubai Media Office, initial investigations revealed that the accident took place on the second-floor balcony of Al Muwallad's residence. Dubai Police are continuing their investigation and will share the findings with relevant authorities once complete.

Medical Care and Support
Al Muwallad is being closely monitored at a Dubai hospital, where medical teams are working diligently to provide necessary care. The Saudi Sports Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, is personally overseeing the situation, along with the Saudi Football Federation, the Saudi Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the Dubai Consulate, and Al Shabab club management.
Football Career and Achievements
Al Muwallad, a winger for Al Shabab, has made 74 appearances for the Saudi national team, scoring 17 goals. He started his career with Al Ittihad, where he played nearly 250 matches, scoring 76 goals. He also had a brief stint in European football, becoming the first Saudi player to compete in Spain’s La Liga during a loan to Levante. In 2022, he joined Al Shabab, where he has played 38 matches and scored twice. He recently represented Saudi Arabia in World Cup qualifiers against Indonesia and China.
