Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Thursday that some roads will be closed due to waterlogging as heavy rains hit the UAE.
The intersection of Al Asayel Street with Latifa Bint Hamdan Street is closed in both directions. First Al Khail Street, Latifa Bint Hamdan Street and Umm Suqeim Street can be used as alternatives.
To road users in Dubai, we inform you with the affected roads due to the accumulation of rain water:

Al Sabkha Tunnel is also closed in both directions. The route is diverted to the traffic light intersection above the tunnel. Sheikh Zayed Road, First Al Khail Street or Al Yalayis are alternatives, the RTA said.

Dubai Police app has also sent Dubai residents alerts this morning with the authority warning of multiple major accidents that have occurred on the road this morning.
