Report: Imran Khan to Make Comeback with Film by Aamir Khan

According to a report, the star of everyone's favorite film 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' Imran Khan will soon return in an upcoming Bollywood film.

According to the report from PeepingMoon, Khan will make a comeback with a comedy film titled 'Happy Patel', which will be produced by his uncle, Bollywood star Aamir Khan.
Famous Indian comedian and actor Vir Das will direct this film, making his directorial debut. Imran Khan and Das last worked together in 'Delhi Belly' in 2011.
According to the report, the source said about Khan's comeback, "He will star in and as Happy Patel in a quirky comedy produced by Aamir Khan Productions. The film is a laugh-riot and is set in a familiar yet uniquely fresh world, reminiscent of Imran's previous works. Shooting has already commenced in Goa."
Imran Khan is well-known for his movies 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na', 'Delhi Belly', 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan', and others. He last worked in the film 'Katti Batti', alongside Kangana Ranaut, in 2015, but since then he has taken a break from working in films for personal reasons.
He revealed in an interview with Vogue India, "I hit a low in 2016 where I felt broken inside. . . I had recently become a father and thought, ‘This is valuable. This is something I take seriously.' I wanted to be the best version of myself for Imara. I decided it was no longer my job to be an actor. Now, I had to fix myself; be at my healthiest and strongest for my daughter."
Khan was set to make his comeback with a spy series with Disney+Hotstar. Filmmaker Abbas Tyrewala was developing the series, but the project was discarded after Jio took over Hotstar in 2023.
Nonetheless, fans are excited about Khan's comeback and wish him all the best for his upcoming project!
