In accordance with the directives of the President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, low-income farmers in the UAE will receive electricity subsidies.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan released a statement on Friday in coordination with Etihad Water and Electricity in which he commanded the authorities to assist and reduce the financial difficulties of farm owners, particularly those relating to electricity costs.
The Ministry of Community Development and Etihad Water and Power said that a subsidy will be implemented beginning in July 2023 by a straight deduction from the monthly electricity bill.
The President's goals and actions are to empower Emiratis in the country, give them a good standard of living, and enhance the services offered to them, particularly to those with low incomes.
