In an effort to lower the cost of doing business in the UAE, the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) has lowered its service fees across a number of categories.
The charges for one service category have been waived, while the fee decrease only applies to 14 services.
The new measures, which became effective on January 1, 2023, are in line with the Make in the Emirates goals. By encouraging the implementation of cutting-edge technology that reduces emissions, the service charge reduction aims to back the declaration of 2023 as the Year of Sustainability and promote sustainable industries.
