If you're in Abu Dhabi, get ready for some wet weather! From Monday, October 7, through Wednesday, October 9, several areas are expecting rainfall of varying intensity. The media office has officially announced this forecast, urging residents to exercise caution as weather conditions fluctuate.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology, the upcoming rainfall is due to a surface low-pressure system and a "relatively cold air mass" sitting in the upper levels of the atmosphere. So, it's not just a passing shower; this weather system is here to stay for a few days!

Just this past Sunday (October 6), some parts of the UAE experienced moderate to heavy rains. Hail even fell in Murbad and Maidaq areas of Fujairah! The weather department issued an orange alert for convective cloud formation linked to rainfall, which lasted until 8 PM that day.
