Qatar Islamic Bank “Al Masraf”, the pioneer of digital banking in Qatar, announced the opening of a new branch in Place Vendôme, the most luxurious shopping destination in Qatar.

With the opening of its new branch, the bank expanded its presence in Qatar to be closer to customers in parallel with continuing to develop its digital channels to provide an integrated banking experience to its customers through a network of branches spreads all over Qatar and more than 140 digital services available through its digital channels, customers can easily reach the branch by heading to Gate No. 2, on the first floor.

The branch operates throughout the week from Saturday to Thursday from 9 am to 2:30 pm, and from 3:30 pm to 9 pm, while it works on Fridays from 4 pm to 9 pm.

Despite the abundance and diversity of electronic and digital banking services, there is still a demand for personal banking services as customers prefer dealing with employees to complete specific banking transactions. Where the bank uses digital technology to complement and enhance its experience in the branches by integrating digital channels and direct dealing, which provides an easy and fruitful experience in order to facilitate the account opening process for its customers.

Customers who visit the bank's branches can apply for instant financing and a credit card from the branch and complete the procedures through the bank's mobile application.

As new customers, they can open an account electronically through the application, visit the nearest branch of the bank to submit original documents, and sign to activate the bank account. It is also possible to benefit from the branch’s self-service around the clock, seven days a week, and it is equipped with the latest ATMs for cash withdrawal, cash deposit, and deposit checks.

It is worth mentioning that Qatar Islamic Bank “Al Masraf” was established in 1982 as the first Islamic financial institution in Qatar. Its operations are supervised by a Sharia board that ensures that the bank abides by the rules of Islamic finance, and the bank is considered the largest Sharia-compliant lender in Qatar.
