Qatar Beach Volleyball Team Loses in Semi-Finals at Olympics

Qatar's beach volleyball duo Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan lost against Sweden’s Jonatan Hellvig and David Ahman in the semi-final match against Paris Olympics 2024.
The match took place at the Eiffel Tower Stadium and the Qatari team was not able to score at all with a score of 0-2.
Since the beach volleyball duo could not make it to the Olympic finals, they will compete for the bronze medal on Saturday, Aug. 10 Eiffel Tower - Center Court, against Norway's Christian Sørum and Anders Mol.

Younousse and Tijan have impressed so far at the Olympics by defeating the US team in the quarter-finals with a score of 2-0.
The Qatari duo advanced from the Round of 16 by defeating Chilean pair Marco Grimalt and Esteban Grimalt with a score of 2-0.
Younousse and Tijan have secured gold medals at the Asian Games in 2018 and 2022, as well as a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Fans hope they'll secure the bronze medal on Saturday!
