A significant milestone in the digital transformation of governmental services has been reached by the UAE's Ministry of Justice in the first quarter of 2023. Almost every federal court matter was handled remotely, and all marriage services were performed electronically.
During the same time period, blockchain technology and video communication were used in 99 percent of notary public services.
In the first quarter of this year, the ministry created a highly advanced digital system that enabled remote completion of marriage services, simplifying user interactions and reducing paperwork.
Additionally, it established a technology that permits the automatic issuance of powers of attorney in less than 10 minutes.
The system originally only applied to powers of attorney for attorneys, but it has then been expanded to accommodate other sorts of powers of attorney, including those for real estate, securities, automobiles, disputes, licensing, and legal action.
