The much-anticipated headlining act for the prestigious Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway event on December 16 at 974 Stadium has been revealed as the American rapper Post Malone by Qatar Creates and CR Runway. The world-famous performer's first concert in Qatar will cap off a mammoth festival of fashion, culture, and music that featured more than 150 designers and businesses on the biggest runway in the world.

With participation from more than 50 countries, Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway will feature four choreographed runway shows. Post Malone and other renowned artists, such as DJ Snake, Nancy Ajram, Kadim Al Sahir, Khaled, Ozuna, and Zakes Bantwini, will thereafter put on electrifying performances.

Head of Qatar Creates Saad Saleh Al Hudaifi made the following comments regarding the historic performance: "Bringing Post Malone to Qatar for the first time is an amazing moment for Qatar Creates and a significant part of our FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 journey. At Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway, his performance stands out in a fantastic lineup of international fashion and music talent. We are establishing a platform for fashion, music, art, and culture on an unprecedented scale with this historic event, which will be seen by people all over the world."

Post Malone is one of the best-selling artists of the modern age, with over 80 million records sold and numerous records on the Billboard charts. His achievements include nine Grammy Award nominations, three American Music Awards, one MTV Video Music Award, and ten Billboard Music Awards. Most recently, Malone and Swae Lee's joint song "Sunflower" became the RIAA's highest-certified single ever, reaching 17 times platinum and receiving 2.4 billion streams worldwide.

Her Excellency Sheikha Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani came up with the idea for Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway, which was then orchestrated by CR Runway CEO Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld under the direction of French editor and visionary stylist Carine Roitfeld.

The Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, a non-profit group established by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser to encourage education for underprivileged children and communities worldwide, will receive the proceeds from the international event. In order to engage a large network of international, regional, and local stakeholders in an unprecedented calendar of high-profile events that highlight and celebrate the diversity of cultural activities in Qatar for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and beyond, Qatar Creates has launched Qatar Fashion United.
