Pope Francis to Travel to Dubai During COP28
The Sovereign of the Vatican City State Pope Francis will travel to Dubai and stay there for three days during the COP 28 conference.
The pope will depart on Dec. 1 and stay in Dubai until Dec. 3.

No further details about the pope's visit have been revealed, neither has it been confirmed if he will make an appearance at the climate conference.
The trip will be two weeks after the Pope's 87th birthday.
Although the pope's visit to COP 28 has not been confirmed, the pope has prioritized environmental care during his papacy.
The announcement about the pope's visit was made after King Charles III confirmed that he would make an opening speech at the climate conference.
