Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, paid tribute to the UAE’s Mars Mission team on Tuesday.
On the first day of the UAE’s government retreat to create a 50-year development plan for the UAE, a special reception was held to honor the engineers in Mars Mission team.

More than 200 engineers attended the special reception at Bab Al Shams arena

The Hope Probe entered orbit, on February 2nd 2021, and will stay there for two years to collect scientific data on the planet.
The spacecraft was built by engineers at Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, in collaboration with three US universities.
