The Pakistan Election 2024 results so far show that the three main candidates are neck-to-neck in the competition.
Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan's Pakistani Teehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) supporters who have participated in the elections as independent candidates have secured nine seats so far.
The other Pakistani former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's party Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) has secured 10 seats, while the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has won six seats.
Votes were cast on Feb. 8 and the poll results started coming out on early Friday, Feb. 9.
Political offices were attacked on Wednesday, Feb. 7 in southwestern Pakistan, a day before the election, which left many injured and killed at least 29 people.
Mobile phone services were also suspended before the election day on Thursday but were partially resumed later on.
