Neymar Alludes to the 6th Star and Raises the Challenge Despite Injury
Neymar da Silva, the star of the Brazilian national team, raised the banner of challenge after the injury that threaten his presence in the upcoming matches of the 2022 World Cup.
Neymar sent a strong message through his social media accounts a few hours after he left with an injury from the match that ended with Brazil's 2-0 victory over Serbia, Thursday, November 24, at the end of the first round of the group stage of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Without referring to his injury, the Paris Saint-Germain star wrote through his account on the social networking site “Twitter”: “A difficult match, but the victory was important. Congratulations to the team, the first step has been taken... 6 💙💚💛,” referring to the 6th star.

Neymar referred to the number 6 in his tweet as the remaining six matches in order to win the title, with two matches in the group stage and four in the knockout rounds until reaching the final match of the World Cup.
Neymar left the national team's match against Serbia, after suffering an injury to his right ankle, following an intervention by midfielder Nikola Milinkovic, before he burst into tears on the bench.
Neymar's injury caused great concern to the Brazilian national team due to the swelling of his ankle, and in a press conference after the match, the team doctor spoke about it without explaining the exact nature of the injury and the duration of the player's absence.
The Selecao doctor said: "Neymar's right ankle has already bent and swollen a little bit. We haven't had time to make a more complete assessment yet, and it's important to wait 24 hours to see, and it's still too early to see if he can continue in the tournament."
While Brazil coach Tite sent optimism to the ranks of the Brazilian national team, after confirming that his striker would play again before the end of the competition, his participation in the Switzerland match next Monday remains pending.
It is worth noting that the Brazil national team achieved an important victory over Serbia in the opening match of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
At Lusail Stadium, and in front of more than 80,000 spectators who filled the stands of the match, Tottenham striker Richalson opened the scoring for Brazil in the 62nd minute, after following up Vinicius Jr.’s shot that bounced off the goalkeeper, before Richalson himself added the second goal in a wonderful acrobatic manner at the 72nd minute.
