During the first half of this year, the Dubai Police confiscated 4,172 cars and motorcycles for violating traffic laws.

These include actions like upgrading cars extensively with power boosters to increase the engine speed and disturbing and troubling people.
In line with ongoing efforts to make Dubai a bicycle-friendly city, a total of 8,786 electric scooters and bicycles were also seized during this time period because their drivers failed to follow the technical specifications outlined in Executive Council Resolution No 13 of 2022, which governs the use of bicycles in the emirate of Dubai.
The announcement was reported During the General Department of Traffic performance evaluation meeting for the second quarter of the current year, which was presided over by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police.
