Maluma and Myriam Fares to Perform at FIFA Fan Festival™ Opening Event
The FIFA Fan Festival™ Opening Event at Al Bidda Park on November 19 will feature performances by the Colombian superstar Maluma and the Lebanese phenomenon Myriam Fares, both of whom are well-known singers.
The FIFA Fan FestivalTM will begin on November 19 in Doha's Al Bidda Park, one day before the first match of the FIFA World Cup 2022™ between hosts Qatar and Ecuador. In addition to FIFA Legends and the FIFA World Cup 2022 Winners Trophy, representatives from FIFA and the host nation will be present at the ceremonial inauguration on November 19. A live broadcast of the "Welcome to Qatar" event near the Corniche will kick off the inauguration at 19:00, after which the gates will open.
Following their main solo performances, Myriam Fares of Lebanon and Maluma of Colombia will perform a duet of Tukoh Taka, the official FIFA Fan Festival anthem (with Nicki Minaj, Maluma, and Myriam Fares), which will be released publicly on November 18 as part of the Live Stage opening. The performances by Myriam Fares and Maluma are the first of many that top international music acts and local artists will give over the course of the following four weeks as FIFA Sound brings Grammy Award winners Diplo, Kizz Daniel, Nora Fatehi, Trinidad Cardona, and Calvin Harris to the Live Stage. The Fan Festival will be open from 16:00 to 01:00 on the first day.
