KSA and UAE Seen as Possible Venues for Trump-Putin Summit
Saudi Arabia and the UAE are being considered as possible venues by Russia for a summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to Reuters who got the information from two Russian sources.
The US President has promised he will end the war in Ukraine as soon as possible and said he is ready to meet the Russian president.
President Putin also affirmed that he is ready to meet the US President to discuss Ukraine and energy.
Russian officials have constantly denied any direct contact with the US about preparations for a phone call between the leaders of both countries, which would supposedly precede an eventual meeting later this year.
