It was a turbulent journey for Khabib Nurmagomedov—literally. The MMA legend faced an uncomfortable situation on a Frontier Airlines flight from Las Vegas to San Francisco when a flight attendant questioned his ability to assist with the emergency exit. Despite his clear understanding of English and agreement to help, he was asked to vacate his seat.

Nurmagomedov took to X, explaining, "The lady was very rude from the beginning. I speak decent English, understood the instructions, and agreed to assist, yet she insisted on removing me from my seat."
This led to him being deplaned and rebooked on a different flight after security was called. Frontier Airlines has since responded, stating they are investigating the incident.
The situation sparked backlash from the MMA community. Daniel Cormier commented on IG, "That's really bad," while Belal Muhammad tweeted, "He could've thrown everyone off the plane and flown it himself if he wanted." However, some sided with the airline, citing passenger safety concerns.
One commentator even suggested Nurmagomedov should get an attorney involved, though the fighter has yet to comment on any legal action.
As the investigation unfolds, the debate over whether this was a case of discrimination or protocol gone wrong continues to make waves.
