Direct Bus Routes to Global Village
The RTA has reintroduced four bus routes that connect Global Village to major locations across Dubai. Here’s a breakdown of the routes:
- Route102: Departs from Rashidiya Bus Station every hour.
- Route 103: Runs from Union Bus Station, with buses every 40 minutes.
- Route 104: Connects from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station and operates hourly.
- Route 106: Leaves Mall of the Emirates Bus Station every 60 minutes.
To ensure a comfortable journey, RTA has deployed coach buses on these routes, making the commute to and from Global Village more convenient and enjoyable.
Growth in Bus Ridership Last Season
Global Village’s bus service saw impressive ridership numbers in the last season (2023–2024), with a total of 573,759 passengers using the buses — a 22% jump compared to the previous season’s 448,716 riders. This increase in ridership highlights the growing popularity of RTA’s seasonal service to Global Village.
Tourist Abra Rides Return
For those looking to add a unique experience to their Global Village visit, RTA’s popular tourist abra services are also back. Two electric-powered abras will operate throughout the season, offering scenic rides across the park’s waterways.
With both bus and abra options available, RTA’s transport services aim to make this year’s Global Village season more accessible and enjoyable for all visitors.
