Emirates, based in Dubai, plans to recruit 5,000 cabin crew members in 2024, coinciding with the arrival of A350s and Boeing 777-Xs.

The focus is on individuals entering or recently joining the workforce, preferring fresh graduates with internships or part-time job experience and those with around a year of hospitality or customer service background.
Candidates must meet criteria such as:
- Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage)
- A natural team player with a personality that shines
- At least 160cm tall and able to reach 212cm high
- Able to meet the UAE’s employment visa requirements
- At least 1 year of hospitality or customer service experience
- A minimum of high school (Grade 12) education
- No visible tattoos while in Emirates cabin crew uniform
The recruitment drive involves open days and assessments in over 460 cities globally. In 2023, Emirates hired 8,000 cabin crew members, reaching a total of 21,500 by August 2023.
