Jetex has officially landed in Saudi Arabia as the exclusive operator of the private jet terminal at Red Sea International Airport (RSI).

In a major milestone for luxury travel, this partnership with Red Sea Global (RSG) and daa International positions RSI as a premier gateway for private aviation.

The collaboration was formalized through an agreement with daa International, the airport’s operator. This marks Jetex’s debut in Saudi Arabia, blending the company’s expertise in private aviation with RSI’s commitment to sustainable and regenerative tourism.

Luxury Meets Sustainability at RSI

John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, highlighted the innovative approach driving the project:

“With RSI, we set out to create a unique airport experience that combines breathtaking design, unmatched service, and a dedication to nature. Jetex ensures our private aviation guests will experience the pinnacle of luxury travel.”

The airport’s design reflects its ambitious vision, featuring five independent “mini terminals” shaped like pods. One of these is reserved exclusively for private aviation and will be fully managed by Jetex.

Jetex’s Saudi Debut

Headquartered in Dubai, Jetex’s appointment as the fixed base operator (FBO) followed a competitive tender process. Jetex will oversee all private jet operations, including aircraft handling, luxury electric transfers, and concierge services—all in alignment with RSI’s sustainability ethos.

Adel Mardini, CEO and Founder of Jetex, shared his excitement:

“This is our first major venture in Saudi Arabia, and RSI represents a bold step forward in sustainable luxury tourism. We’re eager to elevate the airport into a world-class destination for discerning travelers.”

A Global Gateway

RSI began international flights in April 2024, connecting directly to Dubai International Airport twice weekly. Strategically located, RSI is within a three-hour flight of 250 million people and an eight-hour flight for 85% of the global population.

Michael White, RSI’s Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the partnership’s impact:

“By teaming up with Jetex, we’re setting new global standards in private aviation, offering a one-of-a-kind experience for our guests.”

The Red Sea destination, which welcomed its first guests last year, already boasts four luxury hotels, with the much-anticipated Desert Rock resort opening soon.

Elevating Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Vision

This agreement not only enhances RSI’s luxury travel offering but also reinforces Saudi Arabia’s position as a leader in sustainable and regenerative tourism. With Jetex at the helm of private aviation, the Red Sea promises to redefine how the world travels.
